Learning Support Center

Welcome to Millersville Mennonite’s Learning Support Center! We’re so glad you’ve found your way here.

Our center’s goal is to support families with school children (grades 3-6) by providing a place where the children can concentrate on the virtual learning platform their schools have provided .

Each day will hold learning time, study breaks, and recesses.

The learning time will be a study hall format where the children can concentrate on their virtual learning. It’s our hope that frequent short study breaks and recesses will increase the children’s focus during the study times.

Please be advised: Children will need to bring computers and study materials that their schools have provided. They will also need to bring their own water bottles, lunches and masks.

The only fee is that of enrollment, which is $30 per family and scholarship assistance is available if needed.

Upon opening, the center will offer services to 12 children on Thursdays and Fridays, from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Our current plan is to run from September 10 to November 20, barring any shut-down due to COVID-19 (for which we are taking all precautions).

The center will be staffed by volunteers who have passed all background checks.
